Brighton Rock is a British noir gangster, the story of Pinkie, a young man clawing his way up through the ranks of organized crime. Disappointing debut for Rowan Joffe. The characters are both unconvincing and confusing, music seems out of place, plus poor editing. Overall, the film feels mostly flat and also redundant. Brighton Rock is a remake and an adaptation of Graham Greene's classic novel.
