The film picks up right from where Fast & Furious left off, with Brian (Paul Walker) and Mia (Jordana Brewster) busting Dom (Vin Diesel) out of prison bus. Then they all head for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where they start to take on a heist that goes wrong and end up being chased by Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida), a corrupt drug lord who has (almost) all Rio cops in his pocket. To make it worst, they are also hunted by a tough persistent federal agent, Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson). Feeling tired of running away, they attempt to pull off one last job in order to gain their freedom. So they assemble a team consists of characters from every instalment. The film still suffers from illogical storyline, inane dialog and impossible action scenes. But never mind those. We see this movie hoping to experience jaw dropping, eye popping action that gonna pump our adrenalin from start to finish. And that's exactly what you gonna get. Sport cars, muscle cars, car chase, drag street race, guns blaze, bruising hand-to-hand combat between The Rock and Vin Diesel, beauty sexy ladies and exotic country. What more do you want? Usually a sequel won’t be as good as the original. But that’s not the case with Fast Five. This one is as good, perhaps even the fastest and most furious to date. I surely wouldn’t mind seeing another one. So Justin Lin, start your engine and fire the sixth!
