Of Gods and Men or Des hommes et des dieux tells a true story about a group of monks under threat by terrorists. It has slow pace, but the tension is all over the place. A serious humanist moving film that deserves your utmost attention.The film won César Awards 2011 for Best Film, Best Supporting Actor and Best Cinematography.
